Michael Mintz is a former Deloitte & Touche Principal and seasoned entrepreneur with proven success building a top-tier professional services practice, leading business development, growing revenue and delivering best-in-class client service.
He is a trusted advisor to clients and business partners, developing and championing effective business growth strategies to meet client needs and capitalizing on market opportunities.
Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Albany in 1989 and began his professional career at KPMG Peat Marwick. In 1991 Michael joined the Asset Backed Securities Group at KPMG which began an 18+ year career in the world of Structured Finance / Asset Securitization.
Michael moved to the Deloitte & Touche Securitization Transactions Team in 1993 where his career path led him from Senior Consultant to Manager to Senior Manager and ultimately being admitted to the Deloitte Partnership in 2004.
The financial crisis of 2008 hit the securitization industry head on and Michael was forced to “reinvent” himself.
MCM Sales and Consulting (MCM) was established in 2009 enabling Michael to leverage his vast corporate experience and contacts into the world of payment processing and follow his passion for electronic payments.
Establishing a strategic partnership with AMG Payment Solutions (AMG), together MCM and AMG have developed strong client relationships in various industries. Michael was responsible for establishing a “Preferred Provider” relationship between AMG and the International Parking Institute (IPI) providing AMG with significant exposure to the $20BB parking industry.
Michael has presented a various IPI conferences on the topic of merchant processing and has become a thought leader in the parking industry on the topic.
Teaming with VeriFone Transportation Systems, Michael spearheaded efforts and continues to play an integral role in VeriFone's ongoing success in the newly originated Street Hail Livery Program (Green Taxi's) in New York's five boroughs.
Michael is a published author in electronic payments with his book “You’re a Business Owner Not a Dummy….Understand Your Merchant Account”.
